Marshall Harkrider

In 2019, 15 year old Marshall Harkrider, was in an ATV accident which resulted in the amputation of his right foot. Prior to his accident, he was an elite soccer player and athlete. He met Noelle at the CAF/Ossur Mobility clinic in Central Park, New York in September. Marshall and his parents talked to Noelle about being able to navigate the beach with an amputation. The Born To Run Foundation gifted Marshall a swimming foot which will enable him to hike, wade, fish, and swim without having to use crutches or a wheelchair to get in and out of the water. According to his mother, Ashley, “It has inspired him to be even more active and has given him the ability to look forward to just being a regular kid without worry at the pool, on the river, or at the beach.”
